How It Works
An introductory lesson is always free, as its main purpose is to tell me about you and your goals. At this time I will also evaluate you in your areas of interest and use that information evaluation to develop a training program to fit your needs. The introductory meeting is usually about one hour long.
My teaching style is tailored to the individual student and their goals — big or small. Our journey will begin with a complimentary hour-long interview to assess and understand you as an artist: Where you are, and where you want to go, as well as what your level of commitment is. If you are already used to auditioning, I might ask you to perform a song and monologue. If this is your first lesson for voice, I will do a pitch assessment and ask you about your goals. If you are training for university, I will go through the process of Unifieds and begin a shared google document that we will use throughout the process to track deadlines and requirements for each school. Let’s get started!
Some of the basics:
A single 25 minute music or movement lesson is $30. (This is usually best for younger children.)
A single one hour lesson is $50.
Three or more lessons receive a 10% discount and are $45 each.
Ongoing training for Unifieds and other high-level events are billed monthly at $50/hour. Training in these cases often includes help with headshots, applications, travel, video editing and multiple lessons in many genres.
Group lessons are available for four students or more at $10/person.
Professional development is also billed at $50/hour. (An example of this is when I review audio or video — or attend a concert in-person — and provide feedback for further development.)
Payment for ongoing lessons are billed monthly. If paid in full at the beginning of the month, clients receive at 15% discount. And weekly payments are also an option.
Right now, due to Covid-19, lessons are taking place remotely via videoconference. Please reach out if you have any questions about how it works.
Booking for private parties, guest directing shows or wedding choreography and other event preparations also available. Please send an email with questions to: lessonswithlily@outlook.com.
